@greataplomb

Hello blog that I've put on hold for almost a year and a half! It has been so long. I bet you didn't miss me. /sobs

It's so nice to be back to the world of snail mailing! I really missed the feeling of receiving and sending something. Not gonna lie, I felt like there was something missing during my one year hiatus. But I really needed to take a break and work on my life since it's not like as I planned it to be.

Oh yes, hiatus. I've been meaning to update the blog up to the latest postcard I received as of the last post but honestly I don't know what happened. Maybe I got caught up with moving and put aside updating the blog that I slowly forgot about it. Or maybe I thought it was useless to update the blog as I was already planning on taking a break from Postcrossing and snail mailing. But whatever it is, the important thing is that I'm already back! It's true what they say, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." It is even applicable to this situation!

I got back and started being active at Postcrossing again last December. I swear, I was like an excited kid when I went to the post office to drop the postcards. I have this habit of posting random things at Instagram, so of course my outgoing postcards were posted and I put the #postcrossing hashtag. Lo and behold, I discovered that people actually made accounts solely for posting about their mails. My personal account was added by a few mail enthusiasts because of my hashtags and it's quite silly that they're seeing my randomness so I decided to make a separate account. I've been enjoying it! So if you're there too, my snail mail account is @greataplomb!

I'm slowly taking in swaps and tried not to get swamped with confusing ones. I haven't even ventured the PC forums again. I missed it, but I'm not yet ready for the intensity there. Lol. I've had a few swaps that I haven't received from the forums before so I made sure to be really careful this time.

I moved back to the province for a semi-career change and I'm still waiting for my first batch of postcards to arrive! I bet my name will ring a bell at the post office again. They'd be saying, "Oh! Pauline is back and so are her postcards."

Many changes are coming and also updates! But it will be painstakingly slow because huhu I've only posted 39 postcards out of 150+ cards and there will be some major back tracking. Wish me luck!
